Knit Your Own Royal Baby: Exclusive picture & pattern from Fiona Goble and The Ivy Press

Fiona Goble, the knitting genius behind the hugely popular Knit Your Own Royal Wedding, has eagerly picked up the knitting needles once again to welcome the latest addition to the Royal Family and bring you this exclusive free pattern so you can knit your own version of the royal baby.

Fiona says, ‘In preparation for Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge’s new bundle of joy, I’m very happy to announce the arrival of my own little woolly royal. It’s been a privilege to prepare this ‘little extra’ for the Catherine and Will dolls in my book and I hope I’ve captured a good likeness!

For a limited time only, we are offering the complete pattern (instructions for the Kate and William dolls, their new outfits, and the baby pattern itself) as a free download.

To download the pattern, right-click on the link below and select ‘download linked file’:

Fiona’s talent for creating charming characters has no limits, from the traditional stories of best-selling Knitivy and Noah’s Knits to the gruesome rip’n’reassemble ghouls in Knit Your Own Zombie, her woolly designs appeal to both novices and experienced knitters alike.

I tried to download the “Complete Royal Baby Pattern” and all I was able to get was another screen that said “Adobe has quit working”. Can you help me and e-mail a copy of the pattern?

Love the pattern! But is there a mistake in it? Am knitting the doll, and having joined in the beige yarn, got down as far as knitting 3 rows st st with 12 stitches on needle. Then the next row says:
K1 (K2 tog) twice, (sl 1, k1, psso) twice, k1 – following those directions uses 11 stitches not 12 and you’d have to knit 2 stitches at the end of the row not 1.

    Or is it me?! Help!
